VSEUS kicks off every new term with an exciting week of events catered to Economics students. Past events include: a Welcome Back Breakfast, LinkedIn Photoshoot, Talkonomics, and Career Night.

An annual flagship event where upper year economics students network with industry professionals and alumni. From finance corporations to nonprofit organizations, students learn about the unique opportunities available to them both during their studies and after graduation.

An opportunity for VSEUS students to better get to know their professors outside of an academic setting over dinner and drinks.

Year-End Gala

As VSEUS’ most anticipated event, the Year-End Gala is a celebratory conclusion to another academic year. Held annually in early April, economics students and professors are brought together through drinks and a formal dinner.

Talkonomics

Held in October, January, and March, this is a series of interactive research talks led by professors and professionals on some of the most pressing economics issues of today’s world. Whether it’s economic inequality or efficient housing allocation, students have the chance to voice their opinions and learn from their peers.

Senior economics students can plan out their next steps in this information session where they learn what graduate school is about, and if it is for them.

Each September, VSEUS hosts a full day of orientation activities for incoming first-year Bachelor of International Economics (BIE) students.
