PARTICIPANT INFORMATION :

  1. Each team can have up to a maximum of 4 people

  2. Payment must be made by one team member together

  3. Each person in a group will pay a fee of 5$ (early bird registration fee) or 7$ (regular registration fee)

  4. Individuals who are not joining as part of a team will pay a fee of 8$.

  5. There is no early bird special for individual registrants. We shall assign them to a team.

  6. If registering as a team, it is recommended that all team members are present while filling out this form to ensure accuracy.

  7. All participants must give their name, year level, major and email address. You must be a UBC student and proof of the same (UBC Student ID) may be requested during or before the competition. Failure to show enrolment at UBC as a student or giving inaccurate details may result in removal of the registrants from the competition. Refunds may not be issued in this case.

Meet the Judges

Over the last 10 years, Warren has supported major sustainability initiatives in the non-profit, private and public sectors. Warren has worked with two Canadian provincial governments on the development of climate policy. Currently, Warren leads the development of nature-based carbon offset standards and methodologies.

Jory Smallenberg

Jory Smallenberg is a thinker, speaker, and community leader known for her commitment to the common good. Having earned her undergraduate degree at UBC, Jory received the Governor General's Medal for top grade point average in the Faculty of Arts. Since then, Jory completed an international fellowship with Yale University through the UBC Yale-Fox Fellowship Program. Currently finishing her master's research in Political Science, Jory is actively engaged in local, regional, and global political discourse on public policy. As a participant in the G20/T20 Global Solutions Summits in Berlin and Tokyo, Jory is familiar with emerging ideas in sustainability and development.
